Xin (General English)
I study at Kiwi English Academy for one year. I had a great time during my year at school. I met a lot of new friends and good teachers here. Compared with the first day I came to school, I feel that my English has improved and I feel better in communication and listening than before. I am very grateful to my teachers for making progress in my English. If I can, I want to continue to study here, I don't want to leave my friends and teachers, but I have to study at other school, it makes me sad. Whatever the future holds, I hope we will meet again!
Echo (General English + IELTS)
Kiwi English Academy provides high quality English language training to both young people and adults and helps us achieve our English language goals. It’s my first time to study abroad in 2020 and I was so lucky to choose Kiwi English as my starting point. The teachers here are very professional and supportive, and whenever you have a question, they will answer it in time. Meanwhile, they taught us a range of strategies to improve our English level. I felt happy and comfortable when studied with my teachers and classmates, and we encouraged and learned from each other. In addition, our administration teachers organized outdoor activities almost every month and through these activities we not only practiced our English but also built our relationships.
During my four months’ study in Kiwi English, I achieved my English goal and got a satisfied result. And I really appreciate our teachers’ dedication and support, and I’m so glad to make friends with people from all over the world. Fiona (General English)
It has been almost a year since last October for me to learn English at Kiwi English Academy, which has a great family atmosphere for both students and teachers. When my friend introduced Kiwi English Academy to me last year, I thought I should have a try to study English there. On the one hand, the school’s location is very convenient for me to collect my daughter from her primary school. There are also having plenty of parking spaces and shops or cafes within walking distance around the school. During school breaks students would like to enjoy café time or do some shopping. On the other hand, all teachers are very professional and passionate in teaching different levels of English to students. The learning contents are interesting and useful for us to understand.
Meanwhile, Kiwi English Academy often organizes all students and staff to join school activities, such as Christmas big day out, Easter functions, School anniversaries celebrations, etc. Through all these extra-curriculum activities, we not only understand more about Kiwi culture, but also make friendship with different nationality students. The student admin team plays key roles in helping students to quickly settle down in different English classes studies at school. When we have any academic or non-academic questions, they are always there ready to help us to solve problems.
I am so glad to select Kiwi English Academy as the language school to study English course. I have benefited a lot from keeping studying English lessons everyday, not only building up my personal confidence, but also making my daily life in New Zealand more cheerful. Even my friends could tell the difference after I joined Kiwi English Academy to study English. In addition, I believe that my English does improve a lot with assistance and guidance of my English teachers. Now I am more confident in communicating with others in English. I wish Kiwi English Academy would recruit more international students to join us after the borders open up at some stage in 2022!
Yaya (General English)
Kiwi English Academy has a great location that is close to ACG Parnell College. The first reason why I select to study English at Kiwi English is that I can join the morning class on time after I drop daughters to ACG every day.
It’s lucky for me select Kiwi English Academy as the right English language school to study English. At such a professional English school my curiosity about English knowledge has been gradually sparked and stimulated, although my English entry level was only a beginner. My teacher, Eliane, is a nice and friendly lady with great patience and experience of English teaching. Under her teaching instructions I am not scared any more to speak English with others and my confidence of learning English has been boosted much too.
The student admin support team has several nationality staffs who can speak their mother tongues to help their nationality international students. Natalie, the Chinese staff, is always friendly and nice to answer Chinese students’ questions, no matter when new students firstly start their English courses on their first days or solve our enquiries during the learning journey. With her strong passion and responsibility towards routine work, I, as other Chinese students, feel comfortable and settled down in our daily English studies at school. Our Principal, Kate, is a dedicated and professional education pioneer, who cares about every individual international student at school. She does the regular academic and pastoral care counseling with every student, covering conversations about academic progress, the life in NZ, or others. All these make students feel so warmed and cared from bottom of hearts, especially during the Covid pandemic.
In summary, I am lucky and happy to study English within Kiwi English Academy having a warm family atmosphere for us. I strongly recommend Kiwi English to those who would like to study and improve English. I do wish Kate and her team would lead the school to another journey of success in such challenging time.
I met lots of international friends and meet really kind teacher here. we had lots of experiences in class and after school.
I enjoyed playing tennis, walking in different places and talking with people. These are the main activities I liked in NZ!
