New Zealand Universities in the Times Higher Education Top Universities Ranking 2008
NZ Universities Rank Highly Against Their Counterparts
Our office is eagerly awaiting the results of the annual Times Higher Education - Top Universities Ranking for 2009. Rankings for the 2007 and 2008 year have resulted in New Zealand universities being rated highly amongst their more well respected counterparts.
Three of New Zealand's eight universities have continuously featured in the top 200, whilst two others have featured in the top 500. Of those five universities the University of Auckland has consistently been ranked in the top 70 universities in the world.
These rankings highlight the quality of education not only offered in Auckland, but in New Zealand. The average level of our 8 public universities puts New Zealand well ahead some of our large competitors.
